Meet the founder
Matthew Elliott, PT, DPT
Founder, Elliott Concierge Physical Therapy
Physical therapy was part of Matt's life long before it was his profession. Growing up, he watched members of his own family work their way back from serious injuries, including whiplash, complex regional pain syndrome and sports trauma. He saw how much skilled, attentive care changed their recovery, and how much it mattered to be treated as a whole person rather than a diagnosis.
Matt earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Bradley University in 2016. In more than ten years of practice he has led outpatient clinics in Louisville, Montgomery and Naples, treated patients in Manhattan and Miami, and spent several years providing in-home care in Naples, much of it for older adults working through orthopedic, balance and vestibular problems. He is licensed to practice physical therapy in Indiana, Michigan, Florida and New York.
Across those settings he kept seeing the same pattern: good therapists split between several patients at once, short visits, and plans that never accounted for the stairs, the commute or the golf swing the patient actually cared about. He founded ECPT to practice differently: one patient at a time, for a full visit, in the place where the problem shows up.
The ECPT difference
What one-on-one actually means here
One patient at a time
Visits are one-on-one, starting with a full 60-minute first visit, and their length after that is set around your plan. Your therapist isn't splitting time with other patients or passing you to an aide halfway through.
A Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit
From the first evaluation on, your care is delivered by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, not a technician or assistant.
Care where life happens
We come to your home, office, gym or club, so treatment can address the stairs, the shower, the desk setup or the swing you actually deal with.
The same therapist throughout
You work with one therapist from visit to visit, so nothing gets lost between appointments and your plan keeps building on itself.
Clear communication
You'll understand what we find, why we're doing what we do and what comes next. With your permission, we keep your physician or surgeon in the loop.
Straightforward private pay
ECPT is a private-pay practice. We go over costs before you commit, and we provide an itemized invoice you can submit to your insurance.
Clinical depth
Broad experience. One plan, built for you.
ECPT isn't limited to one specialty, because people aren't. People often come to us with more than one problem, or with a goal that cuts across several: getting back to golf after a shoulder injury, or walking confidently again after a bout of vertigo.
Depending on what you need, treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, blood flow restriction training, vestibular and BPPV repositioning maneuvers, and progressive strength and balance work. Techniques serve the plan; they are never the plan.

How we work
What you can expect from us
An honest assessment
If physical therapy isn't the right next step, we'll tell you, and we'll point you toward the provider who is.
No promises we can't keep
We explain what we expect, track your progress against your goals and change course when something isn't working.
Respect for your home and your time
Your therapist brings what the visit needs, including a treatment table and supplies, and works around your schedule.
Privacy
Care happens away from a crowded clinic floor, and your health information is protected under HIPAA.
For physicians, dentists and partners
An easy referral, and a partner you can count on
When a patient would do better with one-on-one care at home, at work or at their club, because of mobility, transportation, schedule, privacy or complexity, ECPT takes it from there. We contact the patient and handle scheduling, payment and documentation. With the patient's permission, we share what we find and how they're progressing.
We also work with clubs and fitness facilities that want to offer members access to a physical therapist, without adding work for their staff.

What people notice first
“From our first session together I could tell this would be a different experience. Not only did he take the time to go over my entire history, he tested my strengths and reflexes until he was able to zero in on my particular issues and devise a program to help me.”
“Matt came to my home and spent a lot of time figuring out what was contributing to my symptoms. He explained everything clearly and gave me exercises that actually felt specific to what I was experiencing instead of just general balance exercises.”
“I have been in and out of physical therapy for my neck injury since 2016, and Matt is by far the best physical therapist I have worked with.”
