What Is Concierge Physical Therapy?

Most people come to us after feeling frustrated with traditional clinics—rushed sessions, inconsistent care, and limited progress.

At Elliott Concierge PT, every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We focus entirely on your goals and your progress, using a private, results-driven model that delivers advanced care directly to your home, office, gym, club, residential building, or another appropriate private setting.

Unlike traditional insurance-based clinics, our concierge model eliminates red tape so your care is never dictated by visit limits or insurance approvals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my insurance?

Yes, we utilize your out-of-network benefits in order to decrease your cost of care whenever possible. For patients without out-of-network benefits who still want to receive one-on-one skilled physical therapy, we provide single visit rates and package options.

Do you accept Medicare?

Elliott Concierge Physical Therapy is a private-pay and out-of-network concierge physical therapy practice. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, please contact us before scheduling so we can determine whether our services are appropriate for your situation and explain your options clearly.

This is important because Medicare has specific rules around physical therapy coverage, private-pay services, and home health eligibility.

How long will each session last?

The initial session lasts a full 60 minutes. After that, you may have the opportunity to choose between 30, 60, and 90-minute sessions depending on your case, your goals, and your availability.

Where do sessions take place?

Your therapist comes to you. Sessions may take place in your home, office, private gym, senior living residence, or another appropriate private space.

Your therapist will bring the necessary equipment. In most cases, all you need is roughly a 6’ x 6’ open area.

What does a session look like?

Sessions vary from person to person. For most clients, treatment includes a combination of hands-on therapy, movement assessment, corrective exercise, strengthening, balance or mobility work, and education.

Depending on your case, care may also include reviewing imaging, coordinating with your physician, helping you understand your surgical precautions, or building a long-term plan to stay active and independent.

Do I need a physician referral?

In many cases, you can begin physical therapy without a physician referral. However, depending on your medical history, surgery, diagnosis, insurance situation, or state-specific requirements, we may recommend or require coordination with your physician.

If you recently had surgery, we are happy to review your physician’s protocol or post-operative instructions.

What areas do you serve?

We provide concierge physical therapy in select ECPT service regions, including Southwest Florida, Chicago, and South Bend. Availability depends on location, therapist schedule, and travel distance.

Is concierge physical therapy right for me?

Concierge physical therapy is a good fit if you want private, one-on-one care, prefer not to travel to a clinic, value convenience, and want a more personalized experience than traditional outpatient physical therapy.

It may be especially helpful after surgery, during a pain flare-up, when balance or mobility has declined, or when you want expert guidance to stay active and independent.
